About The Position

HealthCARE Express is seeking a compassionate, motivated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work in the Texarkana area. The LVN works alongside providers to deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The role includes clinical procedures, patient support, accurate documentation, and contributing to a smooth-running clinic and positive patient experience. The position offers part-time or PRN scheduling, with 12-hour shifts that include some Saturdays, at $26 per hour. Requirements

• Be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and teammates.
• Be able to multitask while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Be comfortable using electronic medical records and basic computer programs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.

Nice To Haves

• Previous nursing experience in urgent care, family practice, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patients’ vital signs and prepare them for examinations and treatments.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, and routine laboratory testing.
• Administer medications and injections within the scope of practice.
• Start IVs and assist with wound care and minor procedures.
• Administer TB skin tests.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Support providers throughout the day.
• Help create an exceptional patient experience and work with teammates to keep the clinic running smoothly.
