About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. The LVN gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, following PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience; preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
Responsibilities
