About The Position

The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation is hiring licensed vocational or registered nurses to provide patient care. The role participates in planning and coordinating total patient care with the RN and physician, follows each patient’s nursing care plan, documents patient conditions and care, and assists with complex nursing situations. Nurses follow universal precautions and emergency procedures. Requirements

• One year of experience as an LVN or RN.
• Current state license as an LVN or RN.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordinating total patient care with the RN and the physician’s plan of care, and follow each patient’s nursing care plan.
• Accurately report and record the patient’s condition and care, including signs and symptoms that may indicate a change.
• Prepare clinical and progress notes and summaries.
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions when providing patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of a catastrophic event, accident, injury, or significant change in a patient’s condition.
