About The Position

This is an 8-week assignment for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. The role involves gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. The position is located at Thousand Oaks Rehab and offers a pay rate of $40 per hour. No travel reimbursement is provided.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA approved).
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
