Part-Time AM Shift Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
About The Position
The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time AM Shift LVN to join their dedicated nursing team. This role is ideal for an LVN who enjoys working early hours while making a meaningful impact in the lives of residents through quality nursing care, teamwork, and compassion. The position is part-time with AM/Morning Shifts from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred, and flexible scheduling is available. Requirements
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care
- Passion for serving seniors and supporting quality of life
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion
- Support and supervise CNAs to ensure quality resident care during AM shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
- Complete required charting and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
- Respond quickly and effectively to resident needs and emergencies
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
- Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and wellbeing
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
