Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Staffing Facilities
About The Position
NurseCore is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in the San Antonio and Surrounding areas. If you're compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping others, we want you on our team. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a variety of healthcare settings, picking up available per diem shifts at facilities in your local area. You will provide nursing care, treatments, and services according to patient care plans and facility policies, administer medications and treatments as ordered and within the LVN scope of practice, and monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professional. Collaboration with RNs, physicians, facility staff, and other healthcare professionals is key, as is completing accurate and timely patient documentation. You will also follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable Texas regulations, and maintain a safe and professional environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Current, active, and unrestricted Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license or a license recognized for practice in Texas.
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Current TB/PPD test or chest X-ray.
Responsibilities
