About The Position
Destination Pet is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join their team. They emphasize practicing at the top of your license, offering transparent pay, and a structured career ladder. They provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, along with an in-house laboratory and ultrasonography.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Texas Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) state license.
- Experience in Anesthesia & Analgesia, including full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
- Experience in Dentistry, including full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy.
- Experience in Diagnostics, including high-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
- Experience in Nursing & Triage, including critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
- Willingness to mentor assistants/externs.

Responsibilities

- Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
