About The Position
VCA SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency is hiring a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician for its 24/7 CritiCare department. The role provides patient care in a busy emergency and specialty hospital and advocates for patient well-being. The scheduled overnight shift is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. Compensation is $30.00–$43.00 per hour, with an additional $5.00–$7.00 per hour shift differential for overnight and weekend shifts.
Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).
- Proven ability to provide exceptional patient care and advocate for patient well-being.
- Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, radiography, venipuncture, patient monitoring, and medication administration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with clients.
- Flexibility in scheduling and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and advocate for patient well-being.
