About The Position

Eastview Veterinary Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a focus on surgical and clinical skills. This is a high-volume, walk-in practice that requires technicians who can perform independently and efficiently. The role is not entry-level and requires a strong existing skillset in anesthesia, surgical support, and advanced technical procedures. The clinic is growing its focus on surgery, dentistry, and overall efficiency, and is looking for a team-oriented individual who can contribute to raising the standard of care.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
• 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience
• RECOVER Basic Life Support
• Strong, independent anesthesia skills
• Experience in surgery, dental procedures, or ER/high-volume GP
• Ability to work efficiently without constant direction
• Consistent reliability—attendance, performance, and follow-through matter

Responsibilities

• Independently manage anesthesia (induction → monitoring → recovery)
• Support and execute surgical and dental procedures at a high level
• Perform advanced technical skills (blood draws, catheter placement, radiology, triage)
• Jump into urgent and walk-in cases with confidence
• Work alongside the Lead LVT to maintain clinic flow and efficiency
• Help reinforce training and standards for Veterinary Assistants
