Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician - ER
About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Part-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department in Tacoma! This position is eligible for qualified candidates to receive a sign-on bonus or relocation pay. The pay band for LVT I is $25.63 - $36.81/hr (with shift differentials), which is a starting point dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system. Competitive shift differential pay is offered for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends, based on a 4-hour minimum. We are looking for an exceptional Licensed Veterinary Technician who enjoys patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment. This is a part-time position requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Must possess unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
- Advanced Radiographs
- Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
- Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
- Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
