About The Position

Roaring Brook Veterinary Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, multi-doctor practice. Requirements

  • Current Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials required
  • Strong technical skills, including phlebotomy and anesthesia monitoring
  • Experience with proper restraint techniques for small animals and small exotics
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  • Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
  • Passion for learning, growing, and supporting teammates
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate nursing care and support for patients
  • Perform phlebotomy, patient restraint, and sample collection
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures
  • Educate clients about patient care, treatment plans, and preventative medicine
  • Support veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
  • Practice safe and effective handling techniques for small animals and small exotics
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to support hospital workflow and patient care
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented clinic culture
