About The Position

Destination Pet is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join their team. Requirements

  • Must hold a valid Texas Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) state license.
  • Proficiency in Anesthesia & Analgesia, including full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
  • Skills in Dentistry, including full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy.
  • Ability to perform Diagnostics, including high-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
  • Experience in Nursing & Triage, including critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
  • Willingness to engage in Workflow Leadership, including leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.

Responsibilities

  • Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.

  • Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
