About The Position
Destination Pet is seeking an Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to support their Boarded Surgeon. The role involves monitoring anesthesia and assisting in general and emergency soft-tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgeries. Requirements
- Must hold a valid Texas LVT state license.
- Experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).

Responsibilities
- Monitoring anesthesia and assisting in general and emergency soft-tissue, orthopedic, and neurologic surgeries.
- Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
- Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
- High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
- Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
- Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
