About The Position

Gallatin Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join its five-doctor small animal practice in Bozeman, Montana. The hospital is the longest-running veterinary clinic in the Gallatin Valley, is AAHA-accredited, and operates as a Fear Free practice. The role involves working closely with veterinarians and teammates to provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and client education in a supportive, collaborative environment. The hospital emphasizes work/life balance and offers a flexible four-day workweek, with work on one or more Saturdays per month. Compensation starts at $24 per hour, depending on experience, and the position includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus and other listed benefits. Requirements

Hold a current, unexpired Montana Licensed Veterinary Technician license.
Successfully complete the VTNE.
Have an associate's degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program.
Demonstrate strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
Have a passion for veterinary medicine and providing exceptional patient care.

Nice To Haves

Three to five years of veterinary experience preferred.
Leadership abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care and client education.
Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and radiographs.
Perform dental prophylaxis.
Prepare and monitor patients for anesthesia and surgery.
Administer medications and vaccines under veterinary direction.
Maintain accurate medical records.
Support hospital protocols, workflow, and quality standards.
Collaborate with the team to provide compassionate, efficient care.
