About The Position
Catlett Animal Hospital is seeking a Large and Small Animal Licensed Veterinary Technician to support its three-doctor mixed-animal practice. The position may be full-time or part-time; full-time technicians typically work 35–40 hours per week. Training and mentorship are available for technicians or assistants without prior experience who are interested in mixed-animal medicine. The hospital treats horses, cattle, pigs, small ruminants, camelids, chickens, dogs, and cats. The role includes work both in the hospital and on the road with ambulatory veterinarians. The practice provides a range of surgical procedures and alternative therapies, including acupuncture, PRP injections, and laser therapy. Its large-animal team serves Fauquier, Prince William, Culpeper, and Stafford counties. Technicians are offered LVT appointments, exposure to a wide range of surgeries, and ongoing mentorship and skill development. The practice emphasizes high-quality patient care, excellent client service, and a collaborative, supportive team.
