Requirements

Active Licensed Veterinary Technician license
Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts
Excellent client communication skills
Medical record management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures
Comprehensive knowledge of preventative care
Comprehensive knowledge of hospital operations
Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques
Proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens
Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture
Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring
Commitment to professional ethics
Commitment to continuous learning
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-related hazards

Nice To Haves

1+ year professional experience
Additional skills in dental radiography

Responsibilities

Animal restraint
Triage of incoming patients
Collection and analysis of lab samples
Diagnostic imaging
Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability
