Requirements

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials
  • Experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical veterinary setting
  • Strong technical abilities, including phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
  • Experience with anesthetic induction and monitoring
  • Radiology experience, including dental radiology
  • Laboratory sample collection and processing skills
  • Accurate medical record documentation
  • Passion for patient care and client education
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and commitment to compassionate medicine
  • Desire to contribute to a healthy, supportive work culture

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate nursing care and support to patients and clients every day
  • Assist veterinarians during exams, surgical procedures, and dental cleanings
  • Perform laboratory testing, including bloodwork, fecals, urinalysis, and cytology
  • Monitor anesthesia, perform dental radiographs, and support surgical preparation and recovery
  • Take and develop digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed
  • Educate clients about preventive care, nutrition, and treatment plans
  • Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative workflow
  • Use safe, skilled handling techniques during busy or challenging patient moments
