Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials
- Experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical veterinary setting
- Strong technical abilities, including phlebotomy and IV catheter placement
- Experience with anesthetic induction and monitoring
- Radiology experience, including dental radiology
- Laboratory sample collection and processing skills
- Accurate medical record documentation
- Passion for patient care and client education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and commitment to compassionate medicine
- Desire to contribute to a healthy, supportive work culture
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care and support to patients and clients every day
- Assist veterinarians during exams, surgical procedures, and dental cleanings
- Perform laboratory testing, including bloodwork, fecals, urinalysis, and cytology
- Monitor anesthesia, perform dental radiographs, and support surgical preparation and recovery
- Take and develop digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient medical records
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed
- Educate clients about preventive care, nutrition, and treatment plans
- Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence
- Support teammates and contribute to a positive, collaborative workflow
- Use safe, skilled handling techniques during busy or challenging patient moments
