About The Position
VCA DECATUR ANIMAL HOSPITAL is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team! The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
- Experienced
- Possess expertise and technical know-how to deliver high quality veterinary medicine and patient care
- Credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT)
Responsibilities
- Support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
- Win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.
- Utilize knowledge and skills in areas including, but not limited to: Physical examinations and patient assessment, Anesthesia monitoring, Surgical preparation and assisting, Dentistry, Radiology, Laboratory work, Venipuncture, Catheter placement, Pharmacy, Patient recovery, Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals.
