About The Position

VCA DECATUR ANIMAL HOSPITAL is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team! The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. Location: 1117 N Decatur Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89108 Teamwork is constant in our daily practice, and our team is dedicated to make it their mission to help pets live long healthy lives. Requirements

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
  • Experienced
  • Possess expertise and technical know-how to deliver high quality veterinary medicine and patient care
  • Credentials (CVT, RVT, LVT)

Responsibilities

  • Support technician and doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
  • Win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so we can provide exceptional care to every patient.
  • Utilize knowledge and skills in areas including, but not limited to: Physical examinations and patient assessment, Anesthesia monitoring, Surgical preparation and assisting, Dentistry, Radiology, Laboratory work, Venipuncture, Catheter placement, Pharmacy, Patient recovery, Compassionate care of our hospitalized animals.
