About The Position
We are a busy, well-organized flooring company with a constant flow of projects in South Orange County seeking skilled, licensed Tile and Natural Stone C-54 installers for long-term, steady work. We handle sales and logistics, allowing installers to focus on quality installation. We aim to be a fair and organized prime contractor, providing steady, predictable work, competitive and prompt pay, and clear job details. Installers are ranked based on performance, with higher scores leading to priority for better jobs.
Requirements
- Active California C-54 Flooring License
- Current General Liability (GL) and Workers Compensation (WC) Insurance
- Proven experience with a variety of tile materials (Porcelain, Ceramic, Natural Stone...)
- Reliable work vehicle
- All necessary tools for professional installation
- Commitment to professionalism, timeliness, and customer service
- Excellent communication skills (responsive to texts and phone calls)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with carpet, LVP, laminate, and hardwood installations.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality tile and natural stone installations.
- Manage job details, scope of work, and site information.
- Conduct on-site walkthroughs with the Production Coordinator.
- Communicate effectively with the company and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Pick up materials from the Lake Forest warehouse.
