About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Licensed Therapist at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas. AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Requirements

Arkansas license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, or LCSW
Master’s Degree in a relevant field
At least 21 years of age
Able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Responsibilities

Provides individual, family, and group therapy.
Oversees the completion of treatment for students under their care.
Conducts clinical assessments.
Develops service plans.
Provides counseling.
Performs case management.
Maintains record keeping.
Coordinates services with the multi-disciplinary team.
Documents and assesses the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting treatment plan objectives and goals.
Provides crisis intervention, as necessary.
Completes monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries of all students within their care.
