About The Position

Open Mind Health (OMH) is expanding and actively recruiting fully licensed California therapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD]) to provide virtual mental health care as 1099 independent contractors. This is a 100% remote telehealth opportunity offering $70–$80/hour, flexible scheduling, and a minimum commitment of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability. Applicants may reside outside California, but an active, unrestricted California clinical licensure is required as this position serves clients located in California. Associate-level applicants are not currently accepted for this role. Requirements

• Active, unrestricted California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed Psychologist [PsyD/PhD])
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to evidence-based care
• Comfortable using technology and telehealth platforms
• Passion for providing culturally responsive, client-centered care
• Ability to maintain a minimum of 20 hours of recurring weekly availability

Nice To Haves

• Telehealth experience
• Licensure in multiple states
• Membership in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or PSYPACT compacts
• Additional language proficiency (Spanish is highly desirable)
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual psychotherapy to clients through our telehealth platform
• Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-guided, culturally responsive, client-centered care
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the broader care team as appropriate
• Practice within applicable professional, licensing, and regulatory requirements
