We're seeking Licensed Behavioral Health Clinicians (LCSW, LCPC, and LMFT) to join our interdisciplinary team in Bloomington, Illinois. Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
- Eligibility for Illinois licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
- Must obtain Illinois licensure within two years of hire.
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and eligibility for agency vehicle insurance coverage.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) preferred.
- Active Illinois LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT licensure required (for Clinician IV).
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment, continuing care, and discharge plans that support long-term recovery.
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group counseling services.
- Facilitate psychoeducational, therapeutic, and skills-based groups.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, peer support specialists, recovery staff, referral sources, and community providers to coordinate integrated care.
- Participate in court-involved and justice-related services when assigned.
- Provide consultation, mentorship, or clinical guidance to interns, students, or developing clinicians as appropriate to licensure and experience.
- Promote trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care and person-centered treatment throughout every client interaction.
- Uphold Chestnut's standards for customer service excellence while maintaining confidentiality of all client and organizational information.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support program and organizational needs.
