About The Position

Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults through an online platform, covered by most insurance. As a clinician-led and minority-owned company, we prioritize supporting our clinicians. This full-time remote role offers a consistent caseload, opportunities for career growth, and a supportive team environment. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth to a caseload of 25-36 sessions per week. The role involves conducting intakes, developing client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists), maintaining timely documentation in our EHR, and supporting families with education and care coordination.

Requirements

Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, or Family and Child Counseling.
Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT or LCSW-C
Experience with children, teens, and families
Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
Strong technological skills and learning new systems, including Zoom, GSuite (Google Calendar, Gmail, etc.), electronic health record systems, and other collaboration tools
Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred
Weekend availability a plus
