About The Position

Licensed Mental Health Therapist (MD) – Peak Hours (Evenings & Weekends) join Backpack Healthcare, a provider of online mental health care for children, teens, and young adults, covered by most insurance. Backpack Healthcare is clinician-led and minority-owned, prioritizing support for its clinicians. Requirements

• Active Maryland license: LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C
• Experience with children, teens, and families
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Committed to trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual English/Spanish — strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team — therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists working together
• Maintain timely documentation in our EHR
• Support families with education and care coordination, not just the child in the room
