About The Position
Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide behavioral healthcare to children and teenagers receiving inpatient psychiatric treatment at its residential facility in Springdale, Arkansas. The organization takes a patient-centered, collaborative approach that addresses mental and physical wellbeing. The therapist conducts psychosocial assessments, develops personalized treatment plans, provides individual, group, activity, and family therapy, and supports patients and families throughout treatment and transitions to community care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Current unrestricted licensure; LMSW or LPC preferred.
- At least one year of hospital-based psychiatric experience.
- Passion for working with youth and families.
- Commitment to completing CPR and Handle with Care training within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain connections with patients’ families and community resources.
- Lead daily group therapy sessions.
- Plan discharges and follow-up care to support successful transitions.
- Connect patients with community mental health resources.
- Contribute to programming through individual, group, activity, and family therapy.
