About The Position
Pyramid Healthcare’s High Focus Centers – Parsippany Outpatient is seeking a compassionate Licensed Counselor to provide PHP and IOP treatment for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. The counselor will work with clients at different stages of recovery in a supportive outpatient behavioral healthcare setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team. The role is full-time in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey, with Monday–Friday hours totaling 40 hours per week and flexible scheduling. Free licensure supervision is offered.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
- LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LPC licensure, or actively working toward licensure.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling.
- Assess client needs and develop individualized treatment goals.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Complete clinical documentation and Level of Care assessments.
- Coordinate with referral sources and outside providers.
- Support aftercare planning and continuity of care.
- Contribute to curriculum development and clinical programming.
