Requirements

Must be a fully licensed Technician.
Working knowledge of automotive equipment.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Highly self-motivated and organized.
Well-developed interpersonal skills.
Commitment to consistently delivering high-quality work.
Ability to make sound decisions.
A valid Canadian driver’s license and ability to provide a driver's abstract.

Responsibilities

Receive repair orders and perform work efficiently and accurately according to dealership and factory standards.
Communicate with the parts department for necessary parts and manage warranty parts.
Examine vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor.
Inform the dispatcher about job status (started, finished, interrupted), paying attention to rush jobs and customer waiting times.
Complete and maintain documentation of work performed.
Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of work.
Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
Attend factory-sponsored training and stay updated on technical bulletins.
Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean.
Maintain a neat, clean, and safe shop area, complying with hazardous waste disposal regulations.
Assist in creating quotes for additional work.
Complete required online training.
Follow company safety policies and report all accidents immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
