Licensed SIU Field Investigator
About The Position
Lemieux & Associates is hiring a part-time, on-call Licensed SIU Field Investigator to serve the Asheville and Waynesville, North Carolina area. The investigator conducts investigations related to complex claims and documents findings through detailed reports, written and recorded statements, scene investigations, and photographic evidence, including accident scenes and vehicle damage. Assignments require keen observation, professionalism, strong investigative instincts, and a willingness to travel. The schedule is flexible and may involve varied or irregular hours. The role pays $25–$32 per hour and offers opportunities for professional growth. Requirements
- SIU/claims investigation experience as a private investigator or fraud investigator.
- Live in the Asheville or Waynesville area.
- Be licensed by the State of North Carolina as a private investigator.
- Experience handling complex SIU/claims cases.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied or irregular hours.
- Strong computer and internet skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Own a digital camera and a Windows-based computer with internet access.
- Ability to meet deadlines with high-quality work.
- Provide a resume and questionnaire.
Nice To Haves
- A notary license is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual ability is preferred.
- A degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
