About The Position

Lemieux & Associates is hiring a part-time, on-call Licensed SIU Field Investigator serving the Asheville and Waynesville, North Carolina areas. The investigator conducts field investigations to uncover facts behind complex claims. Duties include documenting findings in detailed reports, obtaining written and recorded statements, conducting scene investigations, and photographing evidence such as accident scenes and vehicle damage. Requirements

• SIU or claims investigation experience as a private investigator or fraud investigator.
• Live in the Asheville or Waynesville area.
• Hold a North Carolina private investigator license.
• Submit a resume and questionnaire.
• Experience handling complex SIU or claims cases.
• Willingness to travel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied or irregular hours.
• Strong computer and internet skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Own a digital camera and a Windows-based computer with internet access.
• Ability to meet deadlines with high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

• A notary license is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.
• A degree in criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
