About The Position

Joe Simpson Plumbing is hiring a full-time Licensed Service Plumber to work in the Woodbury, Connecticut area. The plumber will take ownership of residential and new construction projects, independently diagnose plumbing problems, and complete repairs. The role includes residential renovations, remodels, and new construction work such as rough-ins, installations, and maintenance, with all work required to meet building codes and industry regulations. The plumber may work independently or lead apprentices, manage a workload, and communicate with homeowners about plumbing issues, service options, and job progress. Applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Requirements

Active Connecticut P2 or J2 plumbing license.
Proven hands-on plumbing experience; residential repairs, rough-ins, renovations, or new construction experience is preferred.
Ability to perform assigned jobs independently.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Professional communication skills for interacting with customers and explaining plumbing issues and solutions.
Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Experience independently running residential service calls and communicating with customers.
Willingness to train apprentices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
