Requirements

• Hold a current State of Illinois Plumbing License and/or City of Chicago Journeyman Plumber License.
• Have proven experience in residential or light commercial service plumbing.
• Have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Have exceptional customer service skills, including leaving the workspace spotless and treating clients respectfully.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with older Chicago infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
• Service and install traditional and tankless water heaters, fixtures, valves, and water filtration lines.
• Maintain, rebuild, and scale vintage or modern hot water steam boilers.
• Resolve sewer and drain blockages using cable machines, hydro jetting, and sewer video camera inspections.
• Communicate clearly, transparently, and courteously with homeowners and building managers before starting work.
