Licensed Residential Service Electrician
About The Position
Michael & Son Services is hiring experienced Licensed Residential Service Electricians to perform residential electrical service work. The role includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential electrical systems; installing electrical components; and providing professional, courteous, solution-focused service to homeowners. Electricians present repair and replacement options and complete paperless work orders on a company-provided tablet. The position offers year-round work, dispatch from home, a take-home company truck and gas card, uncapped earning potential, and opportunities for training, mentorship, and advancement.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of residential electrical service experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license; a license is described as a plus.
- Journeyman or Master Electricians may qualify for the $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems.
- Install panels, breakers, outlets, lighting, generators, and other electrical components.
- Provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service on every service call.
- Present homeowners with repair and replacement options.
- Complete paperless work orders using a company-provided tablet.
