About The Position
The IMA Group is hiring a Licensed Psychologist to perform psychological evaluations that support disability determinations. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule and real work-life balance. The role initially focuses on Connecticut disability evaluations, with the opportunity to expand into VA disability assessments as the program grows. This position focuses on high-quality psychological assessments that make a meaningful difference, without the demands of ongoing treatment.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut Psychologist license (PhD or PsyD)
- Experience conducting psychological and cognitive assessments
- Comfort evaluating both pediatric and adult populations
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and report-writing skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations for children and adults
- Administer cognitive and developmental assessments (Bayley, Leiter, WPPSI)
- Complete detailed, objective evaluation reports
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Complete required Connecticut disability training before beginning evaluations
- Expand into VA disability evaluations as opportunities arise
