About The Position

We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for OPWDD eligibility for Medicaid patients in NYC. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position with flexible scheduling and a caseload of 5-20+ evaluations per month. The compensation is $70/hour, covering all aspects of the evaluation process including testing, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and care coordination. Evaluations will be conducted in-person in patient homes, your office, or community settings across all 5 NYC boroughs. The patient population includes children (3+), adolescents, and adults with diagnoses such as intellectual disabilities, autism, and developmental delays, primarily insured by Medicaid.

Requirements

Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical/School/Neuropsychology.
Active, unrestricted NY State Psychology License.
Experience with OPWDD evaluations.
Proficiency in IQ testing, Vineland, ADOS-2.
Professional liability insurance ($1M/$3M).
Reliable transportation for NYC home visits.
Own testing materials OR willing to rent/use ours.

Nice To Haves

Board certification (ABPP).
Bilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, etc.).
Experience with Medicaid population.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for OPWDD eligibility for Medicaid patients in NYC.
Perform IQ Testing (WAIS-IV, WISC-V, Stanford-Binet).
Administer Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales.
Conduct ADOS-2 when needed.
Write comprehensive reports meeting OPWDD standards.
Provide face-to-face testing, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and care coordination.
Conduct evaluations in patient homes, your office, or community settings.
Choose preferred service areas within the 5 NYC boroughs.
