We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals navigate substance use, co-occurring mental health concerns, and the challenges that can accompany recovery. As a Licensed Psychologist at Passages, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with clients throughout their treatment journey. You'll use your clinical expertise to help clients better understand themselves, explore underlying factors contributing to substance use and emotional challenges, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a foundation for lasting recovery.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology.
  • Current, valid California license in good standing with the California Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist.
  • Current, valid California Driver License with a satisfactory driving record, as determined by company discretion.
  • Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements, including tuberculosis screening, background checks, driving record checks, drug screening, and professional reference checks.
  • Ongoing screenings and monitoring may be required during employment in accordance with applicable law and company policy.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and holidays, to support the needs of a 24/7/365 healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy to clients
  • Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments to identify client needs, treatment priorities, and areas of concern.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and follow-up plans based on each client’s goals and clinical needs.
  • Provide clinical interventions and support appropriate to each client’s presenting needs and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Support clients in developing insight, addressing underlying issues, improving coping strategies, and creating sustainable tools for recovery.
  • Participate in crisis intervention and provide appropriate clinical support when needed.
  • Reassess clients throughout treatment and make recommendations based on their progress and changing clinical needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and company policies.
