About The Position
The Licensed Professional Counselor provides virtual mental health support to clients through scheduled telehealth sessions. The role includes assessing client needs, creating and updating treatment plans, providing ongoing counseling, and maintaining clear clinical documentation. It is suited to someone who works independently, communicates clearly, and is comfortable managing a consistent remote caseload.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
- Active West Virginia LPC license in good standing.
- Experience providing mental health counseling to adults, adolescents, or families.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
- Comfortable using EHR systems and telehealth technology.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, documentation standards, and ethical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform.
- Complete psychosocial assessments and intake evaluations.
- Develop and update treatment plans based on client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Monitor client needs and respond appropriately to risk concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical and legal standards.
