About The Position
A full-time remote/telehealth role for a Louisiana-licensed Licensed Professional Counselor. The counselor provides scheduled virtual sessions to adults, teens, or families, helping clients address stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other behavioral health concerns. The role includes guiding treatment, tracking client progress, and offering practical support clients can use in daily life. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The stated salary is $115,000 to $120,000 a year.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field.
- Active LPC license in Louisiana.
- Experience providing counseling services in a clinical or telehealth setting.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to independently manage a full-time caseload.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions for adults, teens, or families based on the assigned caseload.
- Perform intake assessments and gather relevant clinical history.
- Create treatment plans with realistic and measurable goals.
- Maintain compliant clinical notes and case records.
- Review client progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
- Provide crisis support and appropriate referrals when needed.
- Educate clients on coping skills and treatment strategies.
