About The Position
SuiteMate Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced and mission-driven Psych Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a state-supported residential care setting. This role involves providing nursing care and support within a residential care environment.
Requirements
- Active LVN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Current CPR certification
- Previous nursing experience required
- Strong knowledge of nursing procedures and patient care
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Responsibilities
- Provide routine and emergency nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs, health status, and patient conditions
- Document care accurately and timely
- Assist RNs, physicians, and medical staff with patient care
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
