Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is a 61,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital featuring 40 private patient rooms, a dedicated brain injury and stroke recovery unit, and advanced therapy spaces. Our collaborative team environment supports work-life balance while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life following stroke, neurological conditions, and other complex injuries.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program
  • Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • IV Certification preferred or obtained within six months
  • Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Assists with patient assessments and contributes to care planning
  • Administers treatments and medications within scope of practice
  • Supports interdisciplinary care interventions focused on rehabilitation progress
  • Documents patient information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Provides care appropriate to the age and condition of the patient
  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient advocacy
