About The Position

Fir Lane Care, a Caldera Care facility, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in a warm, welcoming residential care environment. The role includes administering and documenting medications and treatments, monitoring residents’ vital signs and general condition, reinforcing health care instructions, and supporting residents and their families. The LPN also works with the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and patient activities; assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges; and may assist with unit management or assume charge of a unit as assigned. All shifts are available. The stated pay range is $40.00–$45.00 per hour, depending on experience. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in quarterly installments during the first year of hire.

Requirements

Current and valid LPN license.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
Physical strength and stamina.
First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
Administer, observe, and record medications, treatments, vital signs, symptoms, and patients’ general condition.
Reinforce and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of a unit as assigned.
