Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN - Pediatric Homecare Overnights
About The Position
BAYADA is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for pediatric homecare overnights. The role provides one-to-one skilled nursing care to a single client in the client’s home for a full shift. Private duty shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours, and nurses commute to one client home per shift rather than making multiple visits. Care needs and acuity vary according to the nurse’s skills and training interests and may include g-tube, trach, or vent care. Nurses can choose a flexible schedule based on client needs, with local clients and short commutes. No minimum number of hours is stated, and full-time or part-time schedules are available. BAYADA offers weekly pay, one-to-one client care, 24/7 managerial support and a compliance hotline, and preventive care coverage for all employees, including PRN staff. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one skilled nursing care to a single client in the client’s home during a full shift.
- Deliver private duty nursing care appropriate to the client’s needs and the nurse’s skills and training.
