About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a healthcare team. The LPN provides high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice. The role is full-time, with day or night schedules.
Requirements
- Current, active LPN license in the State of Position.
- At least 1 year of recent hospital experience.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
- Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
- Perform patient assessments and accurately document observations and interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and report changes to the RN or physician.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Uphold infection control and safety standards.
