About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice. The LPN works under the supervision of an RN or physician and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care. The position is full-time, with day or night shifts.

Requirements

• Current, active LPN license in the state of the position.
• At least 1 year of recent hospital experience.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Strong clinical skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
• Perform patient assessments and accurately document observations and interventions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and report changes to the RN or physician.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Uphold infection control and safety standards.
