About The Position
Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for their residential programs located in Roswell / Johns Creek, GA. The company is a dynamic organization committed to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury, with over 40 years of experience developing programs for clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. They treat conditions such as post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries. The LPN will typically work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within designated program(s). This role involves working as part of the clinical team to implement evidence-based treatment strategies focused on self-care and promoting physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. Additionally, the LPN will provide training to clients or family members on how to promote health, wellness, and medical stability.
Requirements
- State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (or equivalent) is required
- Demonstrated accountability and skills in analysis, problem solving, decision making, related to medical nursing skills and time management required
- Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record must be maintained at all times
Nice To Haves
- Previous Spinal Cord / Brain Injury experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in the rehabilitation of chronically or catastrophically ill or injured is recommended
Responsibilities
