About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Spring Mill Meadows, you will develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive, engaging presence, leadership and teamwork within the care team, collaboration with nursing and facility teams, and respectful interpersonal communication.

Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
