About The Position

This position works on a clinical operations team providing clinical support to providers while ensuring patients have a safe and positive experience. The role performs clinical duties in Express, the Cast Room, and pods, and works closely with clinical leadership to support smooth patient flow. The schedule is Monday and Thursday from 7:45 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid New York State LPN license or ATC BOC certification.
EMR knowledge required.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience rooming patients in a high-volume medical office; preferred but not required.
Experience in wound care and casting is highly preferred.
MEDENT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with clinical leadership to ensure smooth patient flow in operational areas.
Perform clinical duties in Express, the Cast Room, and pods.
Apply and remove casts, sutures, staples, and braces.
Provide wound care and patient education.
Respond to triages as needed or assigned in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Room patients, take vital signs and histories, and update electronic medical charts as needed.
Update and maintain patient medical records, including visit details, insurance information, and contact information.
Provide patients with appropriate paperwork after visits, schedule follow-up appointments, send medical records as requested, and answer patient inquiries.
Maintain exam rooms to appropriate regulatory standards.
Audit new patient charts.
Replenish exam room, clinical, and designated-area office supplies as part of a team.
Train others as needed or directed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
