About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, assesses care plans, implements and documents nursing care, and evaluates care for a group of assigned patients in the health care system. The LPN supports medical care as directed by the medical staff and in accordance with the hospital’s objectives, goals, and policies. The position is in the Emergency Department and is identified as a night role.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Oklahoma.
• Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, and other certifications required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assess care plans for assigned patients.
• Implement and document nursing care.
• Evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Support medical care as directed by the medical staff and pursuant to hospital objectives, goals, and policies.
