About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care requiring clinical competence and works within the scope of practice and applicable state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain patient safety, provide comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in the telemetry setting.

This is a full-time day-shift position in the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit at Prime Healthcare St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., three 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. Free parking is available. Compensation is estimated at $31.00 to $40.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
