Responsibilities

• Implement a resident plan of care.
• Perform direct nursing services, including administering treatments and assisting with assessments and evaluations.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegate suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants and provide guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Consult with others and validate data.
• Record pertinent information in the patient record.
• Identify and evaluate the resident’s response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicate residents’ care needs to others involved in their care.
• Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
